School Meals

Hot Dinner

The midday supervisors care for the children at lunchtime, under the direction of the Headteacher and Assistant Head.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a hot free school meal as part of the Governments Universal Free School Meals offer.  Our school meal provider is Chartwells.  We have an onsite kitchen where the food is cooked offering a meat, vegetarian or jacket potato option.  Hot meals need to be ordered for each term ahead. Please click on the links below to download the current menu and an order form.  Completed forms need to be returned to Mrs Merrington in the School Office.

Packed Lunch

Children may bring a healthy packed lunch to school if you would prefer them to have a cold lunch.  Packed lunches must contain:

  • Sandwich, pasta or rice
  • A piece of fresh fruit or vegetables
  • Yoghurt / fruit bread / sugar free jelly etc
  • One small treat e.g. packet of crisps, small biscuit
  • Drink of water (water is provided on tables)

Please ensure that lunchboxes are clearly marked with your child's name. Our midday supervisors will encourage your child to eat everything in their lunchbox, so please pack an appropriate amount for your child and foods that you know they eat. Sweets and cans or bottles of fizzy drinks are not allowed. Glass containers must not be brought to school.
