Lunchtimes
The midday supervisors and teaching assistants care for the children at lunchtime, under the direction of the Headteacher and Assistant Head.
From September 2014 all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were entitled to a hot free school meal as part of the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals offer.
Since 31 October 2023, the school meals at Oldbrook First School and Nursery have been provided by Fresh Start Catering. Lunches are freshly prepared onsite using locally sourced produce.
Meals are ordered using the Fresh Start Meal Manager, which can be accessed using the following link:

Lunches must be ordered by 9am on the Thursday before the week you wish your child to have a meal. The jacket potato/pasta option and deli option can be ordered until 9am on the day.

Parents can also send their child to school with a healthy packed lunch from home. All food must be cold and stored in a lunchbox clearly labelled with your child's name. Fizzy drinks, chocolate and sweets are not allowed. Please see the guide below for more information about what should be included in a healthy packed lunch.
Please note that Oldbrook First School and Nursery is a nut free and pork free school.
