Nursery

At Oldbrook Nursery we aim to provide a happy, secure, friendly and stimulating environment where children learn and have fun together, supported by an enthusiastic and professional staff team and qualified teacher. Your children will arrive at Nursery with many experiences and knowledge about themselves and their world. We hope to be able to work in partnership with parents and carers to build on, and extend their developing interests, skills and experiences.

Provision and Funding

Oldbrook First School Nursery is a 39 place nursery.  The sessions run from either 8.45am until 11.45am for 15 hour provision or 8.45am until 3.00pm for 30 hour provision.

In addition to the 15 funded hours of childcare provided by the government, some families will be entitled to 30 hours of funded childcare.

Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare are two separate government schemes, to help parents with the cost of childcare. You can apply for both through one online application – the childcare service.

The Parent Portal on the HMRC website is now live and parents can set themselves up to check their eligibility for the extended entitlement. Please click on the links below:
