Friends of Oldbrook School 

Our Friends Association consists of a group of parents and school staff who help to organise social and fundraising events at our school. Meetings take place at school – approximately once every half term – at about 6.00pm. We understand that some people find it difficult to find the time to commit to attending regular meetings so we welcome extra volunteers who can offer their time and support at specific functions or events. Money that we raise helps to pay for extra activities for the children, such as a whole school visit to the pantomime in January and other trips and visits throughout the year. We also help to pay for extra resources and equipment, which help to enhance and enrich the children’s learning.

We always welcome new members and helpers so if you think you
would like to become involved or would just like to find out
more, please speak to Mrs Merrington at the school office
who can give you more information. Alternatively, contact one or our committee members who will also be able to tell you more.
